About Elizabeth
Inner West Mediation Hub is led by Elizabeth Hogg, an experienced family lawyer, accredited mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.
With over ten years of experience practising exclusively in family law, Elizabeth brings a deep understanding of both the legal and emotional complexities involved in separation. She has worked across a wide range of matters, including complex parenting arrangements and property disputes, supporting clients at every stage of the process.
Her approach to mediation is calm, balanced and focused on resolution. She works to ensure each party feels heard, while keeping discussions structured and outcome-focused.
Experience and Background
Earlier in her legal career, Elizabeth worked as a solicitor with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. In this role, she regularly appeared in court across New South Wales in serious criminal matters.
This experience shaped her ability to manage high-pressure situations with clarity and professionalism, while remaining composed and focused on the outcome.
Before entering law, Elizabeth worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Midwifery at a major Sydney teaching hospital while completing her graduate law studies at the University of New South Wales. This background contributes to her grounded, compassionate approach when working with families.
Elizabeth is a qualified Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and an accredited mediator with:
